Bruce Willis In Talks To Play The Original Joe In G.I. Joe 2

According to THR, Bruce Willis in talks to join the cast of Paramount's G.I. Joe 2: Retaliation and would potentially play the role of the original Joe! If that deal goes through, Willis would play General Joe Colton, the man who "in 1980s comic books starts the G.I. Joe strike team, called the ultimate freedom fighting force, and got the handle G.I. Joe."

Directed by Jon M. Chu (Step Up 2: The Streets, Step-Up 3-D, Justin Bieber: Never Say Never), the film is set to star Channing Tatum, Dwayne Johnson, Adrianne Palicki, Ray Stevenson and RZA. Lorenzo di Bonaventura (Transformers Franchise) will produce the action movie, which Paramount has scheduled for a June 29th, 2012 release. The film will begin shooting later this month in New Orleans.
