Paper Tongues "Self Titled Album" Review
The rock group 'Paper Tongues', hailing from Charlotte, North Carolina are rapidly becoming one of may favorite rock bands. With catchy songs and an energy that speaks volumes, these guys are on the rise and the world of music better take notice. Founded by producer and American Idol judge Randy Jackson, the Paper Tongues have a sound that's both eclectic and gritty.
From the opening track "Trinity", the band never lets up as each song seems to get better and better. From hip-hop sounding tracks like "For The People" to the massive hit, and my personal favorite "Ride To California", the album doesn't allow you to settle in on one particular sound and that's always a good thing.
The track "Higher" showcases the vocal range of the lead singer, Aswan North as his voice truly stands out on each and every song. There are so many good tracks on this album that it's a definite must listen. All 10 songs on the album really are great so skipping over any tracks wont be necessary. The name of the band is very hard to forget so these guys are sure to grow in popularity very, very soon.
Other tracks to hear: All of them
