New Batman Casting Rumors

Here’s a quick rundown of everything we know about The Dark Knight Rises: all the principals, from Christian Bale to Gary Oldman will be returning; Christopher Nolan is the director; the script was written by Jonathan Nolan; Tom Hardy has been added to the cast; neither The Riddler nor The Joker will be in the film; there are two female leads, one a villain, the other a romantic interest; and the title is The Dark Knight Rises. Absolutely everything else, however, is completely up in the air. The script is undoubtedly under security that rivals Fort Knox, the Nolan’s continue to be the most secretive dudes in the industry and nobody official is giving away any details. Until we do start getting official announcements, however, we’re simply going to have to make do with rumors and speculation, and we have three new ones for you today.

Collider has been in contact with some unnamed sources who have clued them into some details about the production, from the casting of the female roles to what we may see on the Batcave/Batmobile front in the last film of the trilogy.
Kicking things off, one of the sources says that former Bond girl Eva Green and Naomi Watts have officially signed on to the film, and while the source isn’t certain, it is believed that they will be playing the roles of Vicky Vale (fans may recognize her as the character played by Kim Basinger in Tim Burton’s Batman) and Talia al Ghul (daughter of Ra’s al Ghul, played by Liam Neeson in Batman Begins). It is expected that Vale will be the love interest while al Ghul is the villain, but the story doesn’t specify which actress will play which role.

The next rumor in the set of three is that production will run from May 6 to November 28. This rumor is easily the most believable, as Michael Caine suggested those exact dates back in November when he said that he would be receiving the script in January.

Lastly comes the matter of the new the Batcave and Batmobile (a.k.a. The Tumbler). Fans know that Bruce and Alfred have been hard at work on the new secret lair since the end of Batman Begins when it’s suggested that they improve the foundations in the south-east corner of Wayne Mansion. As for the Caped Crusader’s car, it was blown up while blocking a rocket launcher in The Dark Knight. So what’s going to happen in The Dark Knight Rises? According to the site’s source, The Tumbler has been redesigned to be sleeker, “but still powerful and with all the gadgets.” The new Batcave will be in the same cave we saw in Batman begins, but with new elements introduced, including the circular bay for the Batmobile, the display for the Batsuits, and the Batcomputer.

As suggested in the opening paragraph, please, for the love of God, don’t take this all as strict fact. This could easily all be proven wrong, and, frankly, most of it probably will be.

Rule of thumb: unless you hear Christopher Nolan talking about it, don’t believe a word.

Justin Bieber Set For CSI Encore

February is shaping up to be un-Bieber-lievably Bieberful.

Hot off the news that Fox’s Glee will cover a Justin Bieber song or two in its February 15 episode, CBS’s CSI has announced that the teen crooner will reprise his role of Jason McCann during sweeps.

In CSI‘s Season 11 premiere, Bieber made his TV drama debut as Jason, a troubled teen whose brother was eventually killed by the CSIs. In the Beebs’ encore appearance, airing February 17 and titled “Targets of Obsession,” Jason calls Nick (played by George Eads) to tip him off that he’s in imminent danger.

Imminent danger of being awesomely popular with the young girls, that is! OK, fine — it’s probably a different, more dire brand of danger.

Lest you think that avoiding CSI and Glee will keep your world Bieber free next month, know that the lad will also grace the cover of Vanity Fair as well as star in the 3-D concert film Never Say Never.

Big Bang Star Gets an Entourage

Jonny Galecki who plays the character Leonard Hofstadter is ditching his Big Bang pals to rub elbows with the Hollywood elite in an upcoming episode of Entourage. (Don’t worry, it’s temporary.)
Johnny Galecki will stop by the HBO hit eighth season for a quick cameo, per E! Online, and his role is quite a stretch.

Star of The Big Bang Theory 

Galecki is set to play…himself, only tougher and looking for new representation in the biz. That’s where the Entourage crew comes in, mainly Eric and Scott who try to land the TV vet as a client. Faux Johnny may even try to swoop in on E’s girl, Sloane.

Comeback Kid 'The Game' at home on BET

TV show resurrections are nothing new — TNT saved Southland, CBS saved Medium — but a comeback after two years in the grave?

"You don't see those too often. Usually, the longer it takes, the less likely it is. But here we are. The Game is alive and kicking!" creator and executive producer Mara Brock Akil tells TVGuide.com. "It's been a long journey, but I wouldn't have it any other way."

Nearly two years after CW pulled the plug, the comedy about football players and the women who love them, makes its improbable return Tuesday on BET with two episodes — thanks mostly, Brock Akil says, to the devoted fans. "In a sense, we felt buried alive because we felt we had so much in the show creatively. I can only imagine being buried alive and you start hearing people digging you out! 'Yes, I'm in here!'" Brock Akil says. "We are very, very excited. We want to do well, not only for ourselves and the network, but especially for the fans."

Debuting in 2006, The Game, a spin-off of Girlfriends, was the CW's only sitcom in the network's inaugural season. Three years later, the network axed the 30-minute sitcom as part of an overhaul focusing on one-hour shows. In a last-ditch effort, Brock Akil tried revamping The Game into a one-hour dramedy, but the CW didn't bite. "What was even beautiful about that was that the fans got wind that I was going to pitch the show to the CW as an hour and they gathered millions of fans on the CW's website to prove the audience value of the show, but I think it was a lot too late," Brock Akil says.

Enter BET. After reruns of The Game garnered record ratings for the cable network in syndication, Loretha Jones, BET's president of original programming, reached out to Brock Akil and her husband, showrunner Salim Akil, about reviving the show in its original half-hour form. "I don't think we thought it would take a year, but we knew Loretha was going to get it done," Brock Akil says.

To show that everyone involved "never stopped living The Game," all the actors re-signed, including Coby Bell, who joined Burn Notice in the interim. But there were a few changes when production resumed in October. For one, BET committed to 13 episodes, instead of the broadcaster's usual 22 — a mutual decision to have "quality control," Brock Akil says. The show also moved shooting locations from Los Angeles to Atlanta, where the episodes were filmed out of order like a movie after all 13 scripts arrived. "We've never done that," Brock Akil says. "It's not the best way to shoot comedy. Comedy is a very in-the-moment set-up. A lot of times, you're changing jokes and lines. It's a little difficult, but that also speaks to the talent of Salim and Kenny Smith, our head writer."

Getting back into the groove proved to be anything but difficult. "Everybody had their game face on, so to speak," she says. "Second chances — you hear about people having these near-death experiences and it changes their lives. They're more appreciative. They're more passionate and life and what's important. Here was a second chance for us. We were dead. It was over. It was on another level. I think our creativity was able to soar and it had to because our budget was less. You have to be more creative."

So where does The Game find Derwin, Melanie & Co. in Season 4? Mirroring life, the show picks up two years later. Melanie (Tia Mowry Hardict) has voluntarily put her residency on hold to be superstar Derwin's wife, but suspects D.J., the son Derwin (Pooch Hall) had with Janay, is not his. Playboy Malik (Hosea Chanchez) having an affair with the wife of the San Diego Sabers team owner, while his mom, Tasha (Wendy Raquel Robinson), is having her own fling with a younger guy. And Jason (Bell) and Kelly (Brittany Daniel)? The divorced pair is still at each other's throats.

"It's so funny trying to keep up with life. In the pitch to the CW, I pitched that Kelly was going to have a reality series — Ex-Ballers Wives — and I think a year later Basketball Wives premiered and now there's Football Wives and everybody else's wives!" Brock Akil says. "I just felt, 'Oh my gosh! It looks like we copied them.' But really, I pitched this two years ago! But it's OK. Because people now know what those shows are. It makes the fact that she's doing it even funnier."

BET bringing back The Game

Feeling "at home" on BET, Brock Akil says she anticipates success with The Game's long-awaited return. "When a network is proud of a show, it gets other people excited," she says. "With all due respect for the CW, them believing in us creatively allowed us to garner an audience. In terms of a better fit, any time you're wanted, you're ahead of the game. We belong here."

And are they wanted for a fifth season? The producer, who worked on Cougar Town during its first season, suspects a renewal is in the offing — one that probably can't come soon enough for the fans.

"I don't think we or they are going to have to wait that long [to hear about a renewal]," Brock Akil says. "I just have to say 'thank you' to all the fans.Thank you. Thank you. They're simple words, but they really express what we all should be, which is grateful. Nobody owes you anything. Nobody has to sign up on a Facebook page, nobody has to watch, so thank you. And enjoy The Game!"

Grown Man Gets HUGE, DISTURBING Justin Bieber Tattoo

This, ladies and gentlemen, is the personification of the word "regret." A man in California decided it would be a good idea to get Justin Bieber's 16-year-old face tattooed on the front of his thigh. Well, not just tattooed on the front of his thigh but basically blanketing half of his entire leg. The worst (best?) part is that it barely even looks like Justin Bieber!

A lot of questions come to mind when first seeing this grown-a** man's Justin Bieber thigh tattoo: 1.) How many sheets to the wind was he when his assuredly intoxicated friend (enemy?) convinced him to do this? 2.) The thigh, bro? A 16-year-old boy's face that close to your swimsuit area? 3.) Was this the final straw? Did Mom and Dad finally kick him out of the basement?

But maybe I'm all wrong. Maybe this nice man is just one of the millions of die-hard Justin Bieber fans we've come to know and love. Maybe "Somebody To Love" is his No. 1 favorite song of all time. Or maybe tattooing a Justin Bieber face on his thigh was a "special agreement" between him and his bookie.

Who's to say, really? It's a free country! And actually, it could be worse.

Timbaland Reaches Out To Demi Lovato For A Collaboration

From Madonna to Keri Hilson, Timbaland's collaborations have spanned many genres. And while he's not hurting for longtime friends to work with (Justin Timberlake, Nelly Furtado), he's always looking for new talent. Next on the producer's collabo wish list? Demi Lovato.

In a video message posted on YouTube, Timbo shares his thoughts about the Disney starlet, who is still checked into a treatment center for "emotional and physical issues."

"Demi, I'm so ... I'm sitting here looking. Man, I'm just like, 'Wow.' You are amazing, girl," he gushed. "I'm kind of funny. I'm very hard to please, and I'm just not an easy person to please, so I'm very impressed. I'm very impressed. I got to hear you sing some of your songs, and I'm like, 'Wow.' "

Timbaland was so amazed with Lovato's talents that he's already created a track for the singer/actress. The super-producer played a clip of an acoustic ballad, admitting that he has yet to add his signature touch.
"I'm going to play a song that we did just for you," he said. "It ain't finished. It don't have my stamp of knockness to it yet. I'm playing a song just for you, only for you. Are you ready? It goes something like this. I wrote this for you."

"You said you would take care of me/ We would always be living good/ And you said you get big one day, but you wouldn't get Hollywood/ Then opportunity called your name and you said that you didn't feel the same way I felt for you," a female vocalist sings on the demo.

While a team-up with the producer hasn't been confirmed, Demi's camp has said that the teen sensation will hit the road later this year to promote a new album.
